Garnet red color with ruby reflection. Pronounced nose with lots of forest fruits, blackberries and a touch of Cassis. Deliciously fruity on the palate with ubiquitous black fruit present. Nicely balanced and tasty character. Its controlled power makes it a versatile table companion. Nice full and round finish.

The Cévennes has a Mediterranean climate with strong influence from the Pyrenees. During the night and in winter, it can cool strongly. Regular precipitation and winds from the mountains. Summers are hot and dry.

Dry soils with stones, clay and limestone (different vineyards).

100% Merlot. After gentle pressing, a long maceration on the skins of 4 weeks follows. Temperature controlled fermentation on inox after which the wine rests for another 8 months on inox before bottling.
